Honestly, most new projects do have a potential, as they are supposed to be. In the first place, they won't be successful attracting investors if what they offer is a trash and the use-case is not necessary or not appropriate to adopt and integrate in the crypto-world.

But the big question is, will they have a successful run? Are the developers will continue to be dedicated even the project seems not getting any good attention or being hype? Are they serious on following their roadmap and future development plans?

It's really risky to be part of the startup. That was part of the risks that needs to be taken note before considering putting money on new projects. If you don't understand the risks, please don't engage. There are other good options that's more worth taking a risk compare to that.
