As you know there are so many factors in buying and selling assets. Not everyday is a good day to buy or sell. I've have an experience being a daily trader and It is not for everyone, Not everyday you can earn a satisfiable profit or can even lose on your trades. It seems that your point of view is on daily trading which is profitable but I guess OP is asking for long term asset investment and he is determining our market situation if it is advisable to buy asset this year or sell. I think that he is trying to maximize his potential profit by following the current cycle like for example this year we experience massive dump on the market and for many of us consider this time to buy and accumulate assets like bitcoin because of it's low price. The lower the price we buy the asset is the higher our profit is.
