Why will anyone become a slave to another because you want to satisfy an urge of a girl? No one has to obey anyone against their own standard. If you want to stop gambling, do it because gambling affects you and not because someone is forcing you to.
I can't even see myself falling for this kind of crappy scene. I don't see a good reason why your girlfriend would have to tell you to stop what you like doing just to make her happy. This is highly rediculous and there should be a reason for that. Many things is attached if she would be ready to bear and pay all my bills. I know there are some persons that cannot do without betting in a week. Gambling gives some persons joy especially if they are making consistent money from it.
First of, she's my girlfriend. A quick question, will she ask me to stop if I win an amount big enough to not just marry her but start a family? The truth is that some women act out of selfish interest, they advice you just so that the money used to take care of them will not run out.
How about in cases where addiction is almost eating up your gambling habit and she decides to help by suggesting you stop. Women naturally think out of selfish wills no doubt but in some cases as well they mean well for the one the claim to love.
