I would buy small cal projects which showed good development previously and would focus on coins and tokens focused on technology. Dont invest all of your money right now because we could still hit the bottom.

I recommend BGL (Bitgesell) which is the most advanced fork of Bitcoin in terms of technology and much more superior than other forks. All bitcoin forks made a good ROI, however, this one should do much better because:

 (1) A very small cap, strong deflation mechanism (90% of tx fees are burnt and currently, about 1% of total supply (16 mil) is burnt) and
(2) better technology (check github and dyor)

 Basically, for a few cents (right now 10 - 15 cents or so) you can buy the best Bitcoin fork. Halving each year. Great storage of value. 
The problem with BGL is that it has a very limited availability for anyone wishes to buy a large quantity. There is some liquidity on dextools but not much. This coin is still "in the shade" however the developers are planning to publish an article in tier 1 journal soon. Dont miss your opportunity!
