Of course I would stop gambling if my dear wife stop me from gambling. But I am happy that my girlfriend prefer me what's good for society and myself. She always inspired me to help the poor. So I always follow my wife's rules and regulations.

You are truly lucky to have such a partner. There are many girl friends or partner who are not willing to gambling and do not want to trust his friend in any way. But the real relationship is about understanding each other. They will help each other. In this regard you are indeed a lucky one.
