If a gambling addicts moves to a rural area where their is no access to Internet for sure it will stop the addict from playing gambling at the moment but it doesn't mean that if the founds his self out from the environment to a place where he will have access to online and physical gambling he will not go back to gambling lifestyle.

The gambling mindset is still there he still can remember his sessions his wins the excitement gambling generates and he will try to replicate that feeling by playing cards with people, if you are an addict you will use your imagination to replicate the feelings, if there is a will there is a way for gambling addict, the absence will just make him misses the dopamine.

Going back to playing cards with friends is tantamount to a failed attempt to quit gambling. Anyone who has decided that a gambling addiction is harmful to him must give up gambling in any form completely. You can encourage dopamine work by creating some kind of incentive system for yourself. For example, if you lasted a month without gambling, you can afford to spend some money on something you could not afford before. This kind of incentive system would be analogous to a gambling incentive system.
