Main myth I regularly hear about gambling is how you feel effects your bets. Which I think is %100 wrong. Gambling isn't something sentimental, you maximize your chances by your own skill, risk assessment, your intelligence etc. And luck side of game is nothing emotional. Its just about possibilities. You try to hit %1 to %10 possibility. People should be more materialistic about it.

What do you mean exactly when you said that “ People should be more materialistic about it”? Also I think you might be missing a little bit of truth when it comes to whether gambling is “sentimental” or not.  I find a lot of people will bet on emotion (such as putting money on their own favorite team). So I think there can be a sentimental aspect in some ways.
I'm sure betting is more sentimental than anything. If not like everyone would bet like a pro gambler and take account of everything fairly. Else, sportsbooks have gone bankrupt and can't expand or we didn't have the motto: the house always wins.
