Still, this is still a loss for Liverpool especially when they are currently still not enough in their goal productivity with the loss of Nunez potentially making it even more difficult for them to score goals.
Even though in terms of performance, it is clear that Liverpool are far superior for now because they are still able to dominate compared to MU, whose current performance continues to decline.
Although Liverpool did not manage to win any of their first two games, their performances were still quite superior and dominant. So I don’t really think Nunez absence will create a space in that attack. They have Firmino, he is now fit after missing the home game against Crystal Palace and will likely start against Manchester United so they will have that attacking presence and they’d fancy securing their first win.
The problem for now is not only about Nunez there because now some of their players are also doubtful to appear ahead of this match against MU such as Jota who is still injured, Firmino who is still in doubt so he was not played against Crystal palace as a form of prevention and in the match against MU later this is also still not certain for him.
Now only Salah and Diaz can still be expected from the attack line.
