Real Madrid will move quickly to find a replacement for Casemiro who has agreed a personal deal with Manchester United and will soon undergo medical tests to head to Old Trafford, and will now Madrid consider signing Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes as Casemiro's replacement in Madrid's midfield.
Oof... Isn't Casimero kinda a banged up player? He's like over 30 years old now and I think I heard a figure of over 50 million GBP was agreed by United to acquire him. Double oof. That's high way robbery by Real Madrid under broad day light.
And I think the Casimero transfer deal, if it really happens, will show how Man United has problems behind the scenes. I mean who is in charge of picking these players? Casimero for 60m GBP? I know the transfer market is crazy these days but Casimero for that price is beyond insane.
I know that Casemiro is a very skilled player. But there is no way he should be a 50 million transfer. I understand why Manchester United wants to get this player and I also understand why Casemiro does not want to stay at Real Madrid anymore.
But 50 million for this player is significantly overpriced. And obviously, after a few days, people will inevitably complain about this. Because only bringing Casemiro into the squad is not going to be enough. They also need competent defenders. I just hope that Casemiro does not get wasted like a lot of other players after his move to Manchester United.
