It screams unprofessionalism. Although some of the people behind some of these projects are highly professional, business-oriented individuals who are either not native English speakers, are too exhausted from all of the other work they do to write properly, or they just can't write for whatever reason (what might be the easiest thing in the world to you might be the most difficult to someone else, everyone's brain is wired differently).
