The idea about adding the risk of unhooking the ones that were previously hooked would be interesting to see at work: greediness vs. risk avoidance, it adds some exciting decision making to the typical psychomotor skills + chance mechanisms.
But if you play this game in real life, you can influence the outcome, depending your skills. If you played such game in an online casino, it would be a 100% luck based game, like dice or plinko games, or similar. I'm not saying that this game, or color game, shouldn't be implemented, though. Surely, such games will find their audience among luck based games lovers.
