I wouldn't worry about merit limits, because you're in no danger of hitting them

You'll start receiving merit when you start making decent posts.

Method A: If you have knowledge, then share it with others.

Method B: If you don't have knowledge, then ask (genuine) questions.

Make an honest attempt at either of the above for the next month and I guarantee that you'll receive some merit!
