People who got tricked by scam developers or being introduced by friends and only the good side of crypto has been introduced, but the other side, they are not aware about the risk. There are people who think that crypto can bring them fortune and change their lifestyle in a much quicker way,. Not realizing that in most cases, there are more people who losses their investment not just a little amount but huge amount of money because they've got lack of knowledge about this investment.
Well in equilibrium in order for one to get a huge amount of money, someone must give the same amount. So in the case of cryptocurrency, it is indeed proven in some cases that crypto might be the tool to get rich quick scheme since there are lots of traders who got rich overnight because certain shitcoins pumped hard but on the other side of that story, there are lots who losses huge amount of money because they end up bag holding worthless cryptocurrency. But if we wanted to avoid losses, we must not think the crypto is a get-rich-quick scheme but rather a get-rich-in-marathon way scheme, since it is safer to buy Bitcoin and hold it for the long term.
Reality of this kind of mentality, if so happen that you are one of those lucky investors then yes you can earn that huge amount, though if you are one of those many who got scam then for sure it's a vice versa. Like what I mentioned, there are more who lose money than those who are lucky who come out with richness.
And figuratively speaking, it's more on the developers or early takers who mostly manage to compensate that huge, especially those times where hypes / pumped really active around this industry.
