I assumed they had a reason not to show. That's one of the reason's I've always avoided this casino, lack of transparency.

There are multiple reasons to not show it; it adds a little bit extra to the fun in my eyes. Just reread some older comments and you will probably need to wager around 150,000$ to get a place in the top 5000.
Actually he just wanted to test transparency and he doesn't need real information we know he is a whale player so of course his target is not in the top 4k-5k
My total wager is $9k and I'm in 35,214th so there is no estimate for the top 5000 but I have a suggestion/idea it would be better someone ask to VIP host
not to support service because they don't have the answer.
As far as I know VIP host and Live supports are similar in this area. If Live supports says that they do not know about this thing, I do think that the VIP host also do not know about it. Back to the main question about the current wager amount for such specific place, what we can do is to predict about it ourselves. Previously rdbase said that he is on 4000th with $120k wager so we can make an estimation based on his information. Perhaps now players have to wager around $100k to be in 5000th.

I think the VIP host has a special service to customers but nothing, at least I got other important information lolas @ryzaadit said last year we can check participant rank up to top 5000 but somehow they don't provide it this year or maybe Stake team thinks it's not important
I honestly don't doubt the transparency here but sometimes some people need it.
