I beg to disagree. Anyone can gamble responsibly. If only people won't abuse it and won't be so much indulged with it, there would be no problem. After all, too much of everything is harmful. Anything must be done with balance and limitations. If you know it to yourself that you do not really possess the self-restraint needed in order to gamble in smooth sailing manner, then you should reconsider entering gambling industry. Otherwise, you'll just dig your own grave. Because one can suffer so much if they can't even control themselves and handle their emotions and urge.
Being accountable of your actions should be your priority the moment you start gambling because no one would look after you except yourself. No one should be blamed if ever things don't go onto your favor because we always have the final say and we are to decide what actions we will take.
What you're saying is completely true but what happens is that in this day and age people are encouraged to not take responsibility for their actions and they are always looking for excuses to try to justify their behavior, and obviously gambling is one of those activities in which we see this over and over again, how many times we have seeing people complaining about losing their money to the casinos and how casinos should invent a system of self exclusion that worked across all platforms so they could not gamble in any casino if they self excluded themselves from one, but this is nothing but a dream, if they want to stop gambling then they need to take responsibility and accept that they have drove themselves into a very difficult position and the only way they can get out off it is by taking the first step of admitting that everything is their fault.
