In 2018, Indonesia’s Ministry of Trade formally authorized crypto asset trading and recognized cryptocurrency as a commodity, and now in 2022 they plan on launching a public crypto stock market.

This is interesting to say the least, more so when the The country’s central bank has recently highlighted that cryptocurrencies are not a valid method of payment, meaning that they can only be bought and sold legally in the country for investment reasons.
