I'm surprised Chelsea were able to snatch victory from West Ham in the final minutes... I thought they were going to lose again, but this time they were very lucky... But the City and Aston Villa game surprised me even more than Liverpool... Somehow the top clubs didn't start the new season very well... Perhaps the more interesting games will be next year...
Big teams are not really doing well this season, Aston Villa shouldn't be a team that Manchester City needs to struggle with . Manchester City have better squad than Aston Villa, winning shouldn't be a problem to them. As for Liverpool they have been havingdifficulties before now so am not surprised with the score.
I'm not surprised that Man City had to draw with Aston villa because already they lost so many chances. With 13 shots in general, they could not make a worthwhile shot again after Haaland scored in the 50th min and it seemed they would manage a three point until Bailey in the 74th neutralized their chances and Aston held fast to that goal and at the end it's a draw.
It seems as if the draw did not affect City much as they still maintain their second place with 14 points whereas Aston sits at the 17th.
