The typical human mind initially considers the fictitious drawbacks and rejects the possibility of another type of money. However, a growing number of individuals are visiting exchanges like Binance, Primexbt, Kraken, etc. People are afraid because they were taught to be afraid as child. This is, unfortunately, what the educational system does.
This is not the fault of the education system, but the fundamental human tendency when it comes to taking risk when your hard earned money is involved. If you are not willing to take risk there is nothing wrong in it and only invest if you are willing to take the risk and it might not reap the benefits all the time.I am also a victim. Wish I had joined this forum earlier.
If you are willing to take the risk, you can invest right now rather than thinking about the past, thinking about the lost opportunity does not make any sense 
.You are absolutely right, opportunities rarely come in life but we have to seize them and take advantage to bring about a peasant change in our life. Current bearish market is very good for accumulation of Bitcoin on every dip and believe me we will harvest huge profit when after the next halving Bitcoin supply will come down and scarcity of Bitcoin will naturally increase its price to the new ATH.
Instead of continuing to regret the past you should seize the opportunity now, it is not too late for us to start with bitcoin. The market still has a lot of opportunities to make profits, right now we are in the bearish season and bitcoin is at a high discount.
If you think you have missed your chance in the past, now is your chance to correct your past mistakes, whether you really want to catch it or not is up to you. At the current discount rate, I believe that if you start holding, the profit you will get will be a huge profit, I can say it is a bigger return than any of your investments before.
