It's fair and normal to be scared of new things that has been discovered. It may not be new to us but it's new to those that are scared. At first, that's the legitimate reaction that one can show but, if they show genuine interest then they'll study hard and research about it until they wholly or partially understand it.

You're not a victim, that's your reasonable equal reaction upon looking at bitcoin. That's what many of us has said too that we all hoped that we knew bitcoin too early so we bought at those low prices.

But, if we come to realize what we're saying. We might really do the same thing as what the newbies are doing right now, and that's being doubtful at the beginning.
