There has been a lot of talk on social media that India has one first match and Pakistan has won the second match, so both teams are equal but people are forgetting the criticality of both matches.

India won the group stage match against Pakistan and even with the loss, Pakistan had to win a match against the weakest Hongkong team to qualify for the next round; which they did easily.

Pakistan won the match against India in the Super four stage and this win is far more important. Now India has to win the other two matches else they may not qualify for the finals.

So keeping this in context, Pakistan won a more important match in the tournament as compared to the indians.
