While the market is on a downward trend, Bitcoin the giant of the crypto market has seen a drastic drop, and other altcoins followed the same trend, will we be able to recover, another coin like Luna did a total crash which is so bad for investors. In this scenario, can we still trust a high and unpredictable volatile I investment such as altcoin in this bear season?
You can't time the market. Only insiders, whales, and miners know what the price of BTC will trade at. The best we can do as retail investors is to HODL and my favorite way to hodl is with staking coins like ICP and CNDL. Each of these can give you a 20% APY staking reward.
There are many projects that give an annual rate of 20% with this type of Pos system. The important thing here is where you entered from, some holders entered from the top, now they are still trying to lower the average. In my opinion, there are better staking projects and they are at layer2 potential, of course, everyone's own preference. I try not to prefer too many altcoins when the market is in such a downtrend. The best is to fluctuate in bitcoin and stablecoins.
This bear market is a purge market for altcoins, where weak altcoins will be eliminated, and only the real potential altcoins will remain. Investing in altcoins during bear markets is risky and even riskier as we look for projects that are paying high APY to attract investors.
I also prefer bitcoin at the moment to altcoins, especially altcoins that offer too high APY. If invest in altcoin I also only choose eth, bnb and more maybe ada, other than that all are not reliable for me.
