I'm reading the latest Ruth Galloway book, and since I couldn't wait for the swedish version I ordered the english one, but there are some words that I never heard before, so you english out there, what the f is a semi-attached house and what is it attached to and why.

That's not a bob. That's an Audrey and she's sporting an up-doo.
The bob is more like you put a big bowl over your head and cut around it.

I would argue the 'Audrey' fits as a bob haircut
Simply put a bob is a short haircut for a women.
My wife likes short hair cuts been wearing them since I met her in 1985.
and a Jada pinkett smith hair cut would be too short

williow's is getting close to the bob style although some would argue it is a short afro/natural style maybe we can ask Chris Rock if he thinks it is an Afro or a bob.
