World Cup hosting rights were granted to Qatar in a hurry and without much introspection from the part of FIFA. Even back then, there were allegations that the Qatari officials were openly bribing poor members to vote in their favor. And ever since they won the bidding, there have been serious allegations of mistreatment of migrant workers and LGBT individuals within Qatar. FIFA has taken no action to this date, to ensure that adequate compensation is provided to the close to 6,000 migrant workers who died during the construction of world cup stadiums.
These allegations are not new because we have too many cases for these things where many committees sit by FIFA and others, but they never prove things like this because we all know how they are doing these things and taking results which they want even in UEFA we have too many cases related to things like this, but they all are eating and doing with mutual understanding and same happening in case of FIFA where mostly they are using personal relationships and money for having decisions for their own sack.

But sadly for things like this which are happening in Qatar no one can do anything positive now they have to accept local rules and gone with them as it's just matter of few days, and then they will be back to their countries and can enjoy by their own rules.
