The news of Thomas Tuchel's dismissal after a short term with the club was a shock to me. Tuchel has done very well with the club, we don't see many managers winning five trophies in two seasons these days, I think he deserves a little more time to get the club to top form but he was dismissed so quickly. Todd Boehly decision doesn't sit well with me.
I was also shocked when I read the news. He have done pretty well in the club, he basically led the team into winning the 2020/2021 Champion League trophy, 2021/2022 UEFA Supercup, and Club World Cup. Thomas Tuchel is really having a bad time after losing both his wife and his job within a month. Although his dismissal was a great shock to him and the fans, because it's soon for that drastic decision. However, I think Todd Boehly don't have room for poor results as he's determined to lift trophies for his club, Chelsea is now an investment to him and he wouldn't want to jeopardize anything having to do with losing stipends and trophies all in the name of favorism. Todd is strict interms of decision making and he only wants the best for the club.
Reports coming from strong suggests said that pressure has been building ever since their trip to US and after that lot of disagreements regarding transfers such as Ronaldo and more and after that poor performance of Chelsea led to Tuchel sack. With owner change it was complete new slate for Tuchel and he didn't made an impression it seems. His earlier contributions and achievements were all blank in front of the new owners.
I hope Tuchel still someday find his way back into PL.
