Two-week delay to honor Queen Elizabeth's death is too much. I think a day off as national mourning of Queen Elizabeth's death and everything will be back to normal. I know Queen Elizabeth's death is a very big event in England but Premier League clubs can't just postpone for two week because of that. The Champion League is ongoing, a tight schedule with matches from both Premier League and Champion League close or even overlapping with each other will be big trouble for England's clubs. They won't have enough time for players to rest or recover from injury and will lower the performance in both leagues.

Last year, covid broke the calendar of games, and this year officials want to break it due to the death of the queen. I respect the queen and national traditions, but I think such a long mourning is unreasonable. Do not think that I'm cynical, but dying at 96 is absolutely normal - I think that many of those who sit on this forum will not live to that age. In my opinion, a minute of silence at the beginning of each game would be enough.
Matches for this weekend were postponed, and every kind of open or outdoor activity halt as well. That's at least 2 days off because of the death of the queen. Maybe even more coming to the next week, keep mounting for the of the queen. Just seems a waste of all the mounting, halting everything for over a long period of time because of the death of the queen. England takes the death of the queen seriously and anyone that wasn't Brits really doesn't get it. Guess Brits want to take a break while the world keeps on going.
