World Cup hosting rights were granted to Qatar in a hurry and without much introspection from the part of FIFA. Even back then, there were allegations that the Qatari officials were openly bribing poor members to vote in their favor. And ever since they won the bidding, there have been serious allegations of mistreatment of migrant workers and LGBT individuals within Qatar. FIFA has taken no action to this date, to ensure that adequate compensation is provided to the close to 6,000 migrant workers who died during the construction of world cup stadiums.

The same doubts existed in the case of awarding the World Cup to Russia 2018 and of course FIFA covered everything up and nothing happened.
FIFA is actually a commercial company and the only thing they are interested in is the expected earnings from the World Cup, and Russia and Qatar obviously offered more money than other competitors, and that was the only thing that mattered in the decision-making process.
Sports motives, honesty, fight against corruption? Don't be ridiculous, FIFA is one of the most corrupt organizations in the world, just look at who the members of the FIFA executive committee are and everything will be clear to you Grin

Football is no longer just a sport, but exclusively a business.

There is no doubt FIFA is commercial company, and they are doing this all very good because with this they are having enough funds and good marketing which is helping them for having enough funds and other facilities which are giving them good access to all other things which are fruitful for this game soccer, and they are also good in their system and rules which are helping to stay completely neutral in many cases and if any federation is doing anything wrong they are capable of ban them even punish for better results for others and going strong into their system which is very important for this game's development.

Just no FIFA is the most corrupt organization we have too many but right now they are world's most popular, so peoples have more updates about this and I agree with their this all way of business because this is good for game and future of this game.

I would say that football as a sport is popular, both individual players and clubs, not the organization itself.
FIFA favors big and powerful national teams, and it is obvious to everyone that Russia and Qatar did not get the organization of the world championships in a completely transparent and fair way.
FIFA as an organization spends money in a completely non-transparent manner. Don't forget that the last presidents of FIFA and UEFA, Blatter and Platini, were accused of corruption and misuse of money removed from their positions.
