Unfortunate 92nd min penalty for Stuttgart means Bayern drew 3rd league game in a row. It was a 50-50 penalty as I'd say the decision was correct and VAR helped but I've seen plays like that not being awarded a foul at all. De Ligt messed it up and stepped on the attacker's ankles while he shot it off target. Very unfortunate.
Definitely unfortunate for Bayern Munich and also De Ligt personally, but i would not blame him to much for that foul. He wanted to block the shot of the attacker and then even after the shot he slightly stepped on the foot of the attacker so very very unfortunate but not really a stupid or uneccessary foul by De Ligt.
To only get 1 point after being still ahead after 90 minutes is very unlucky of course but Bayern just did not play well today.
The funny thing is that Freiburg could move ahead 3 points now of Bayern and Dortmund if they win against Gladbach tomorrow. That will be pretty hard though. Union Berlin could also become the new leader of the table.
Unexpectedly Bayern failed to win against Stuttgart, even though Bayern dominated the match and created quite a few chances. This means that
in 3 consecutive matches Bayern failed to win, this proves Bayern's performance has decreased since being left by Lewandowski. Sadio Mane,
who was bought to replace Lewandowski, has so far not adapted well to the Bayern game, Mane is still struggling to score goals. This season's
Bundesliga has become even more interesting with Bayern's declining performance.
Although Bayern is still the strongest candidate to win the Bundesliga trophy this season. However, there are still opportunities for other teams to
end Bayern's dominance in the Bundesliga. Unfortunately Dortmund lost against Leipzig, so failed for Dortmund to rise to the top position.
Currently Freiburg and Union Berlin are yet to play in week 6 of the Bundesliga, they have a chance to replace Bayern at the top if they can win
the game. But my prediction is that Union Berlin will fail to win against Koln, while Freiburg who won 3 matches in a row before, could continue
their positive result by beating Monchengladbach. So the chances of Freiburg rising to the top are very high in my opinions.
