Liverpool has no objective to be in the top 4 but they fight for the title based on the players they have.They also are a contender in the Champions League despite starting it badly and being defeated 4-1 from Napoli in Italy last week.
Now the fight for the top is becoming more and more interesting here as even Manchester United is a contender together with Arsenal,Tottenham and Manchester City.Of course City is the big favorites but even these other teams are performing very well up until now in the Premier League.
I don't believe Liverpool are capable of carrying out their program to achieve that level of confidence in the title race this season. Already entering the 6th round of matches running this season Liverpool game is still not stable. some core players have not shown their quality as players who have the passion to bring Liverpool back to the top. Manchester City were more promising than Liverpool and Chelsea at the start of this season as we could see the matches between these big teams in the last 6 matches where Liverpool seem to be finding great difficulties up front.
