Do you have extra money that you don't need for daily living expenses? If so, it doesn't matter if you can afford $100 per month or $1,000 per month, start small, and increase that amount gradually over time. You have to evaluate your risk tolerance; for example, can you handle high-risk investments? What are your financial goals?
