While on the other hand, Manny doesn't have enough time to prepare a good strategy for Ugas since Ugas came in as a replacement 11 days before the scheduled fight. It is also one of the possible reasons Manny stated why he lost when he was interviewed. [1]
I disagree with that. If replacement is one of the possible reasons why Pacquiao lost, then it means his strategy for his supposed opponent, Spence Jr. will not work on Ugas? That does not make sense as no offense to Ugas but he's not that a big deal therefore any Pacquiao strategy should work against Ugas. He might just mention it to save his ass from losing against Ugas.
Some of the reasons why Pacquiao loses in that match against Ugas are:
- He needs to take care of the lawsuit filed by Paradigm Sports Management with his legal team.
- Before leaving the PH for his training, released an expose' that he has big information about those corrupt government officials but until today, no one is even mentioned by him.
- He did that expose' as part of building his name as he is running for the PH Presidency and even exchanged words against the administration at that time.
To summarize all of these, he is too much comfortable dealing with several tasks at the same time like he thinks he can handle all of them without a problem.
i may agree with you here. it seemed that he had a lot of things on his plate on his last years of his boxing career owed to being politician. so the focus in my opinion was not the same as compared to when he was in this sports during his early years. but i salute to his achievements in the world of boxing. one way or another, he touched also a lot of lives even indirectly, like giving inspiration to younger boxers and to even regular individuals who want to uplift their economic status in life. even legends retire so to speak.
