I've made some researches and found plenty of rumors saying that ethereum will dump after the merge and why's that? (short term)

I don't believe in rumours. I will be staking instead of mining. I will receive 4-15% per annum on the node.
Running a node is not easy and expensive. And staking on exchanges is unreliable.
But maybe that's why it will be profitable. The harder it is to enter, the more profit
