This week almost all the favorites failed to get maximum results, Bayern Munich had to draw with VfB, Borussia Dortmund had to suffer a defeat to Leipzig, the most recent being that Freiburg failed to get full points at home to Borussia Monchengladbach. It's a bit surprising to see the results of this week's match, that they failed to capitalize on a win.
The failure of big teams such as dortmund and bayern was able to be put to good use by union berlin, union berlin which had been known as an underdog team was actually able to snatch the top of the standings from bayern munchen as well as kick bayer munchen to 3rd place in the bundesliga standings this season, currently union berlin are firmly at the top of the table with 14 points from 6 games played, I think the current bundesliga looks quite competitive and looks more attractive although i'm not sure if it can last long.
