Actually gain from gambling will depends on what people think about it since if you are aiming to change your life and gambling is the only one you think can make this possible then there's nothing will really happen to you. But try to see on other side of the coin since if you make gambling as your stress reliever and you have control all of things on it and be satisfied on what you play then you are gaining something with it since you are on positive end.
In my opinion there is only a small percentage of online gamblers who can change their lives for the better and most others fail. Online gamblers often have problems with consistency and emotional control so they lose far more often than they win. I am one who has experienced it for many years, gambling has not changed my life even though I have spent a lot of money.
