Have upgraded to V10c and I like it esp the miner log screen 
Problem is with my VARDIFF pool coinshift.com the LA connects to it gets work and hashes at difficulty 256 for a few minutes but once the difficulty jumps it jumps to 3200 and stays there 
With CGMiner my diffs change up and down proportional to shares/sec. Is this a case of another pool that the LA doesn't like?

Is this a case of another pool that the LA doesn't like?It changes to whatever diff the stratum pool is at, this was done to reduce the reject rate on a number of pools, primarily Ghash.io, because when the stratum tells you to change the diff but doesn't assign a new job, it's causing a flood of rejects. We're trying to keep the reject rate as low as possible, even when that means that some pools may not work properly as a result of that, there are many pools you can choose from.
I shall try some different pools.
