After losing Haaland earlier it weakened Dortmund and I don't call them a real threat against the top European clubs. But they showed a fantastic game against Man City. They were defensive but they also had enough offense as I thought they will win the game at 1-0. Man City first goal came in late and I didn't expect it but it also opened the opportunity to attack more to close the game. Young Erling Haaland is a beast.
Erling Haaland scored the winning goal against his former team and proof that he's capable of tearing apart their opponents defense with his strength. Bellingham netting the first goal in the match and giving the visitors the lead was a big slap on Haaland face and pep wasn't ready to give up. Stones astonished long shot from outside the box gave city hope to bounce back in the game, and Erling flying hits the ball into the post in less than five minutes after their first goal. Dortmund will only go far if they work on their defense line and Midfield because the attack is very much okay.
Dortmund have been doing very well but it is undeniable that the quality of Manchester City is better until they are able to turn things around.
This is a very reasonable result and I was very impressed with the performance of Erling Haaland who was able to score the winner for Manchester City in the 84th minute and as a form of respect Haaland did not celebrate after scoring a goal out of respect for his former club Borussia Dortmund.
