It would make more sense for people to adopt bitcoin because a national idol is promoting the cryptocurrency instead of Elon Musk. Actually I see more people getting interested in btc because they are being bombarded daily with news regards cryptocurrency. There are lots of news talking about bitcoin always the price drops or rises considerably in short time periods. Moreover, we have many other news telling about the integration of crypto by governments worldwide through CDBCs.

It means crypto will be part of everyone's lives with or without their consent. It's going to be imposed on them, so they must really be interested in learning more about it.
