Regulators are so harsh these days towards crypto community, as they want it to go mainstream and monitor investors and their respective funds closely most as possible, that I think at some point every sites will have to ask for KYC to continue operating. Many people will miss the old days a lot, when you could start claiming free satoshis or investing instantly without any difficult, but I believe that is price to be paid for the success of crypto and more specifically bitcoin.
If it really happens someday, I hope users don't get frustrated and quit freebitco.in, because even with KYC, it will remain like an unique gem from the early days of crypto universe. If they quit, I don't think they can replace freebitco.in with any other online platform of the same kind.
