Pakistani Umpire Asad Rauf, the former ICC elite umpire who officiated in 170 international matches across 13 years, passed away due to cardiac arrest in Lahore today. He was 66. May his soul Rest In Peace.

A few months back I had read that he had become a shop owner in Lahore and had completely left cricket.
Yes - it was said to learn he passed away.
Every soul has to go - it was his turn today - tomorrow it will be out turn
Yes - learnt that he ran a garment shop to benefit his family. Is this how his umpiring career ended ?
