Haaland is a very talented player. And because of his good fitness, he has been able to play consistently well. Also because Haaland's performances are more consistent and stronger than during his time at Dortmund, Guardiola has placed Haaland at the center of his match strategy. And Manchester City has an experienced midfield. The midfielders are giving Haaland a lot of support to score goals.
Manchester City played defensively against Dortmund. But after conceding a goal in the second half, they started to play with full attacking tactics. And I think that's why they were late to score. If they played an attacking strategy from the beginning of the match, maybe we would have seen several goals in the first half.
Haaland is a unique player as well, we have seen each of these talents but all at once is unique and very well. He is both tall but strong he is quick but plays well with the ball on his foot, he is skilled but also not too flashy, he scores in more ways than you can imagine (I mean just look at his goal) but also he likes to pass when he needs to. This dude has all the skills needed to be a great striker and as long as City stays powerful, I can see Haaland breaking some records, maybe not be as good as Ronaldo or Messi, but certainly a great talent. He will carry the next torch along with Mbappe for years to come if their teams stay relevant.
