Borussia Dortmund's defense was quite difficult to penetrate by Manchester City in the first half, because they played quite well in the bottom row, but unfortunately after scoring a goal Borussia Dortmund played defensively, thus creating opportunities for Manchester City to hold the ball more. Basically I watched the entire game. Borussia Dortmund played really well. They always prevented Manchester City from getting the ball. Their defense has shown great potential. I expected them to win the game. But Haland's goal in the last phase of the game put Dortmund behind and ultimately defeated.
Totally agree, it's not that Dortmund doesn't give any fight, they play really well too, especially their defense, both the center back and their GK has been very discipline the entire match, only did few small mistake. Haaland was just a very sharp striker, know a good position and know how to finish an attack very well. Overall Dortmund still has very high chance to go to the knock-out stage, so this lose to City is not that big of a deal.
