Son, who came off the bench in the 59th minute, scored a hat-trick, curling two shots from outside the box before his third goal which was initially offside but after VAR checks was finally awarded for Son's third.

This victory lifted Spurs to second place in the standings behind Manchester City on goal difference. Spurs will then travel to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal in the 9th round of the Premier League.
