Leverkusen still can't get up from adversity, game after game they struggle to get 3 points. Of the 7 matches played, they were only able to record a win against Mainz 05 in week 4. There is still a lot of work for them to fix and it concerns the whole team. At first I believed they would be able to compete in the top flight, but in reality they are far from expectations.
Leverkusen is really suffering. There has only been one win in their last seven matches. I do not think this is a good start for the team at all. It seems that they will not be able to finish in the top 3 this season since they finished third in the last season and have started the season so poorly.
In spite of that, it is still very early to make such a statement. They will face Bayern Munich in the next match, which will be played on the 1st of October. It doesn't seem like things are getting any easier for them at the moment. Bayern Munich is also not in good form at the moment. It is safe to assume that they will do everything within their power to maximize the outcome of this match to their advantage.
