Leverkusen still can't get up from adversity, game after game they struggle to get 3 points. Of the 7 matches played, they were only able to record a win against Mainz 05 in week 4. There is still a lot of work for them to fix and it concerns the whole team. At first I believed they would be able to compete in the top flight, but in reality they are far from expectations.
They are currently in a not very good condition because if you look at their current performance, 1 win 2 draws and 4 losses is clearly not a good thing for a team that was in the top 3 in the previous season.
They are currently on the verge of the relegation zone and this was definitely an unexpected turn of events because when the season started I still saw some people expecting their form more than ever.
