Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham are continuing on their great run in the league. I wouldn't expect this trio at top before the season but here we are. Arsenal and Tottenham have improved their effort even more compared to the previous season. It's doubtful how much these teams would be consistent against Manchester City but for now it's lovely to follow this rivalry closely. Tottenham have got a huge boost after that 6-2 win over Leicester. We don't see them scoring this many goals in a game normally. But this week was extraordinary for them.
Indeed, for now the performance of Arsenal and Tottenham is very promising, from the seven matches that have been played, Tottenham have not lost, while Arsenal has only received one defeat, but this is just the beginning of the competition. I doubt Arsenal and Tottenham will be able to maintain their position until the end of the season. ,because we saw from the previous season they couldn't defend their position, even at the end of the season they couldn't secure a ticket to the Champions League, although for now Liverpool have not been able to play consistently at the beginning of the competition but I'm sure Liverpool will come back to play aggressively in the next match.
Liverpool are one of the teams I'm curious about the most these days. Because after their really bad start we all wonder how quick they will be able to recover. The point difference with the leader is getting bigger every week as long as they don't have a consistent performance.
However their performance against Ajax was really promising. Even though Ajax were one of the tough teams to face for them they still had everything under control throughout the game and won it. This was like the footsteps of recovery for Liverpool. But they need to do the same in the Premier League too. They aren't late for anything in the end. Manchester City made a comeback from an even worse condition in the league in the past and became even the champions by a big point difference. Maybe the scenario wouldn't be the exact same one for Liverpool but they can be a part of the title race until the end.
