You are right, the reason why things work like this is because of the whales, BTC is the first and the best so every halving shrink BTC mining rewards marginally, and right now history is already repeating itself, the final capitulation is in play, I still doubt that 10k per BTC will ever happen.
Basically, most people assume that the increase in the price of btc or halving occurs about every 4 years and that means the next bullish phase will occur in 2024-2025 because the previous bullish phase occurred in mid-2021. but we cannot fully believe in this assumption because it is very possible that the events in 2021 could happen again where the price of bitcoin recovers very quickly and creates a price increase twice in a year.
