Bayern Munich's need of a striker is getting bigger by every week. Some people believed that they would still do a good job with Mane there but they couldn't do this so far obviously. Because Mane isn't mainly a striker in the end. Rather than playing like that, we need to see him on the wing more. He should be allowed to play similar to his role at Liverpool. They need to solve the striker problem until the end of the winter transfer window. If they don't bring anyone in the middle of the season then the remaining time period also would be very tough for them.
I know that it is really hard to find and convince a striker who can contribute as much as Lewandowski in the middle of the season. But if they want to be successful this season the only way seems like dealing with this quickly.
I'm surprised to hear Bayern are seriously in need of a striker, when Lewandowski was leaving the club, Sadio Mane was signed to be his replacement. I thought Mane was meant to fill in the top striker position but it now seems the coach prefers playing Sadio Mane in his actual position that is playing from the left wing. The window is already closed now, Bayern will have to wait until January to go for a new striker and will have to make use of available players until then.
When Bayern Munich decided to add a new striker maybe they thought they still lacked to get players with an attacking model and have above average skills, I think when the market reopens in January it will make Bayern Munich move quickly to find and buy the best strikers so they don't miss out on good players again. The plan in the last market they wanted to get Erling Haaland but failed and proved the target of Bayern Munich now can score a lot of goals at other clubs, so Bayern Munich don't want to miss that opportunity again to get the best striker.
