If you are a responsible gambler and moreover a professional gambler, why should stop or quit gambling for a month to give the allocated money to them?
Why we don't change our mind to:
I think if you are a professional gambler or if you are not addicted to gambling, leaving gambling for just one month because you want to help shouldn't be a problem.
True, if you are not sincere in helping, it can be considered that those who donated to the poor have lost at the gambling table.
Well, giving your 1 month allocated money to the poor is not even a sincere help. Helping poor people by giving money is never ever sincere and it's not actually helping them. I've said this before in this thread and I'm gonna say this again coz I noticed a lot of people would willing want to give away their money to HELP the poor people.
When we're talking about sincerity in helping, help them look for a job or a business where they can feed themselves for a lifetime. Don't let them get contented just because someone somehow will give money to them.
Helping poor people and gambling is 2 different things, and I think it is a bad idea if you'd want to put a bridge unto it. Also, if there's someone that's more oblige to help poor people, it is the gambling company that should do it as they generate a lot of money from gamblers. Again, I'm not talking about monetary help, these company might expand their business and they could actually employ those poor people.
