I guess it will be another way around. When the world is already set for global adoption and bitcoin has already been widely used not only as an investment but as a currency too, then probably it will be easier to acquire and buy bitcoin in legit exchanges. Just like USD, when it has become a global currency, it’s very much easier to convert your local fiat into USD anywhere you want. And for sure, the government by that time will be more friendly on bitcoin users.
Adoption will without a doubt make it easier for the average person to get some bitcoin in their wallets, the problem will be to be able to buy bitcoin anonymously, this is getting harder and harder as most exchanges now require from you to go through their know your customer policies, the only way to do this would be to use peer to peer trading and buy bitcoin face to face, but doing such a thing could pose a great risk in the future as I would not be surprised if at some point governments made this practice illegal.
But people had come to crypto because of that so-called anonymity it was but sadly, it turns out that it gonna be changed more and become centralized. Though the fact that we can easier buy them due to an increase in exchanges (local) but I'm not going to believe this will attract more, especially those who are very concerned about their privacy. Doubted this could be going better as it was rather to keep the old system where we are totally anonymous, unlike the situation that mostly has asked already KYC.
