Of course. Udinese have no such aim like winning the title in the league. They only aim to finish the season at a better position this time. Even if they stay in top 10 at the end this would still be an improvement for them. Even this is already a huge improvement as they have beaten some big teams of the league by very reassuring scores. They seem one of the most assertive teams of the league for now. Even if they don't keep this up until the end of the season I will appreciate their high effort very much.
I think after Udinese, unexpectedly for everyone, was in the leading group, sliding to 10th place (which does not even qualify for the Conference League) will be perceived as a failure. I think now they need to finish their performance in the Italian Cup as soon as possible and concentrate on Serie A - this will give them an advantage over other teams. Plus I'm guessing (didn't check their roster) that their players during the Worlds will be mostly resting while the competitors' players are wasting their energy.
