It's been four years already since that thread was created? Feels like we have "forum years" now which is much faster than regular years.The welcome message I feel should be too priority on new implementations to the forum, and the way I see it, would not need much tweaking of the current system, just a pop up for brand-new members.
But don't worry. As soon as we name an official custodial of all the world's bitcoins and the next Ice Age passes, there will definitely be one.
